Sawabi program March 6

The Native Plant Society invites you to a program on Monday, March 6, 2017.

Sawabi, a chapter of the Idaho Native Plant Society, invites you to a program at 7:00 pmMonday, March 6, in the North Fork Room (third floor) of the Pond Student Union Building, lower campus of Idaho State University.

Botanist Dr. Karl Holte, Sawabi Co-President, will begin the program with a brief presentation of The Plant Family of the Month.  

Main speaker Dr. Roger Boe will present Exploring Craters of the Moon, a photographic depiction of the flora, geology and natural beauty of this national monument.   Dr. Boe, a retired pediatrician and noted photographer, has been fascinated with this area for thirty years. His visits there have led him well beyond the developed sections and he has recorded his travels with stunning photographs.  Come enjoy the botany, geology and ultimately the beauty of this remarkable area, Craters of the Moon National Monument.
