Field Trip, Monday Evening, July 24:
The Sawabi Chapter of the Idaho Native Plant Society invites you and your friends on a guided native plant walk on Monday evening, July 24. Leader Grant Thomas will discuss plants found along the beginning of the South Fork of Inman Creek Trail, plus those found a short walk up the trail. Inman Canyon is northeast of Inkom. This is a beautiful canyon and the air is cooler than in town.
To carpool and caravan: Meet at 6:00 pm by the Bison Sculpture in the big parking lot (Fifth and Dillon) located on the lower campus of Idaho State University. Or …Meet at 6:30 pm at the South Fork of Inman Canyon Trailhead. (This is a small parking area 2¼ miles past the forest service boundary and large ATV/snowmobile parking lot in Inman Canyon.) It is advisable to carpool.
