Sawabi Holiday Potluck, December 8

The Sawabi Chapter of the Idaho Native Plant Society invites you and your friends to our Holiday Party Potluck at 4:00 PM on Saturday, December 8, at the home of Karl and Ardys Holte, 1506 North Mink Creek Road, Pocatello.

Our chapter will provide turkey and ham, plus cups, plates, utensils, and napkins.  Please bring a dish to share like an appetizer, side dish to turkey or ham, or dessert; anything will be appreciated. Ardys says that it would be very helpful if you would phone and coordinate with her.  So far, people have offered to bring clam dip and green bean casserole.  We usually have 30 to 40 people at this happy gathering.  Coffee, tea, and lemonade will be provided, but feel free to bring any other beverage of your choice.

Come at 4:00 PM while it is still daylight for socializing and appetizers.  Dinner will be around 5:00 PM.  We look forward to lots of visiting, laughter, and good food.

SOMETHING NEW AND FUN!  Participation in a White Elephant Gift Exchange is optional.  If you choose to participate, bring a wrapped White Elephant gift for exchanging. Preferably, make or find something from around your house (cheap) or something bought for less than $10  that is plant/environmental related or something that would cause a laugh for the recipient.

This is also a good time to renew or start your Native Plant Society membership.

This will be a great Native Plant Society time to socialize with others and celebrate the Holidays.

For questions, call Karl and Ardys Holte, 208-241-8359.
