NATIVE PLANT SOCIETY PROGRAM NEXT MONDAY, NOVEMBER 6, 2017
Sawabi, a chapter of the Idaho Native Plant Society, invites you and your friends to its November program at 7:00 pm, Monday, November 6, in the North Fork Room (third floor) of the Pond Student Union Building, lower campus of Idaho State University.
After a brief talk by Dr. Holte on Portulacaceae, the main speaker, Bob McCoy, will present a program titled Exploring the Great Basin, The Palmetto Mountains and Mt. Magruder. This remote region was once an active mining district but is now mostly empty when wildflowers lighten the harsh landscape in the spring. It is located just beyond the far north end of Death Valley.
Refreshments will be available.
