Wood River Tour August 13

Hunger Coalition Native Plant Garden Tour, August 13, 6:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.; Bloom Community Food Center, 110 Honeysuckle St., Bellevue

Have you thought about using native plants in your home garden but weren’t sure they’d fit in?  See for yourself when Lynea Newcomer, Hunger Coalition’s Director of Strategic Initiatives, leads an evening tour of their beautiful, mature native plant gardens. Meet at 6:00 PM, Wednesday, August 13, at the Coalition’s campus located at 110 Honeysuckle St. in Bellevue.  Learn how native plants can bring year-round beauty to your home, help ensure less water use and support biodiversity, especially for pollinators and birds.  HC grows native plants at its two garden locations as part of an overall stewardship approach to its land management.  We’ll finish up at about 7 PM.  Please, no dogs.
