It is time. The maples in Goodenough canyon are starting to show. The night air is crisp and the day sky is that special blue.
We’ve set the date for October 1’st at 4 PM meeting at the upper end of the Goodenough Canyon Campground. Car pool from the ISU museum Bison at 3 PM. With COVID yet a concern, we have opted for a bring your own picnic idea this year, though you may also bring something to share if you wish.
Although the theme is the fall foliage, we will undoubtedly marvel at some late blooming forbes. Epilobium canum (pictured above) has been a highlight in the past.
Dress for the weather, bring picnic fixings, and good fellowship.
