Gretchen is concluding her Ph.D. studies at WSU this spring investigating the proper storage procedures to prevent fungal damage not only for camas, but also for other bulbs from onions to daffodils. She has received funding from the Washington Native Plant Society to support her research and has worked on camas restoration projects in Oregon.
