White Pine chapter of Idaho Native Plant
Society is holding its 8th annual Native Plant Sale. If you have a place to
post our poster, please click on the link and print. 2019 Native Plant Sale Poster.
If you can distribute it to your contacts who are native plant
enthusiasts, we would appreciate your help getting the word out.
The sale will be held Saturday, May 18, 2019, 9 am until 1 pm at the 1912
Center at 412 E Third Street, Moscow, ID. We will have more than 2000
plants and over 120 species. Most will be perennial forbs, but there will be
some annuals, shrubs and trees. Nearly all have been grown by our members or by
local vendors supplying native plants for gardeners, landscapers,
restoration
projects, etc. Most species are native to the Palouse Prairie or the woodlands
of nearby mountains such as Moscow Mountain.
There will be plants for each of the special areas of the landscape, whether it
be shade, sun, moist, rock garden or xeric conditions. Many of these native
plants are especially important to wildlife providing nectar, pollen, fruits,
seeds for food, as well as nesting material, cover, and nesting and roosting
sites.
2019 current plant availability list
This list will be refreshed when there is new information. An asterisk after a plant means we will have 5 or fewer of that species.
Come shop and bring a friend. Please bring boxes for your purchases.
Thank you for your assistance,
