Lisa hopes her photos of both common and not-so-common native plants will inspire you to walk the trails as well and marvel at the biodiversity on Moscow Mountain. Learn about the trails, hear her stories, and delight in spring, summer, and fall native plants growing on Moscow Mountain.

Lisa Morris is a self-taught plant enthusiast. Her endless curiosity and energy lead her to explore nearby trails almost every day, no matter the season. Using iNaturalist and her phone, she’s identified about 400 and counting species on Moscow Mountain. She delights in the plants, fungi, mosses, convergent ladybugs, ice crystals, people, and all she finds along her way.
