Pahove Chapter January 12th Meeting

Tuesday, January 12th @ 7pm at the MKNC. Anne Halford will present on the “National Seed Strategy and Implications for Public Land Restoration”

This is sure to be a very informative and important presentation. Please come learn about this coordinated effort to put “the right seed in the right place at the right time.” (www.http://www.blm.gov/ut/st/en/prog/more/CPNPP/0/seedstrategy.html)

“Increasingly, plant communities are being altered by natural and human caused events such as the spread of invasive plant species, altered wildfire regimes, habitat modification, land overuse and climate change. National Seed Strategy for Rehabilitation and Restoration 2015-2020 is designed to provide a more coordinated approach among tribal, state, federal, local and private entities, including commercial growers, to restoring plant communities.”
