“Sitting at the crossroads between entomology and botany, galls are an often overlooked component of our natural landscape. We will discuss the general concept of what a gall is, what creates galls, how to rear out gall-making insects, and finally, give an overview of common and readily recognizable plant galls of Southwestern Idaho (focused in on the treasure valley).”
