The Upper Snake chapter of the Idaho Native Plant Society will hold a Zoom meeting on Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at 6:30 pm.
The Chapter will hold a virtual meeting using Zoom due to coronavirus. We will discuss how coronavirus affects our summer plans. Kristin Kaser will explain how to identify plants in one of the largest plant families, the Sunflowers (Asteraceae). Using these new identifying characteristics will help members identify plants in the sunflower family found in eastern Idaho. A short tutorial on iNaturalist will follow. The iNaturalist app will be used to find plants in the Hell’s Half Acre virtual treasure hunt.
