Pahove Presentation April 11

join us for our last Pahove Chapter presentation until fall:
TABLE ROCK
20 years of “taming” a weedy interface, and then it caught fire!
presented by Bert Bowler, “extreme gardener”
Bert has lived two decades on the Warm Spring Mesa transforming his landscape into a sustainable,
drought tolerant, native plant habitat while bordering on an ever-changing weedy interface.
Then last summer he had the Table Rock fire blazing inches from his property. He now has a front row seat
to watch recovery efforts, to see what’s working-what’s not and which plants, animals and weeds are returning.
Bert will lead a lively, open discussion about his ongoing battle with invasive weeds, observations of critters and
plants he has in his habitat.  He will also share how he kept the Table Rock fire from torching his property.
TUESDAY, APRIL 11, 7:00 pm
