Meetings are the first Wednesdays of March, April, May and October at 7 pm in the conference room of Idaho Department of Fish and Game, 2885 W Kathleen Ave, Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

Plant Walk, English Point Trail April 13 Sunday 1:00 pm: North of Coeur d’Alene about 7 miles, take Hwy 95, turn right on Lancaster Road for 3.5 miles, turn right on English Point Road, immediately look left for trailhead and parking.

Earth Day Chapter Table April 19 Saturday, 10-2 pm: Lower level of Coeur d’Alene Library outside on sidewalk, a table offering blanket flower seed sowing in egg carton pockets, two wildflower walks on nearby Tubbs Hill, tentatively 11:00 and 12:30.

Office, Hunter Education Building, 2885 W Kathleen Ave, Coeur d’Alene.

Plant Walk, Blue Creek Bay Recreation Site May 11 Sunday, 1:00 pm: East
of Coeur d’Alene, I-90 exit 22, turn north of freeway, road ends at a “T” junction, turn left onto Yellowstone Trail Rd.

Plant Survey at Heyburn State Park, Monday and Tuesday, June 9 – 10: The
White Pine Chapter is surveying plants. Participants may come for one day or
camp overnight for both days. Contact Derek Antonelli if interested. See officers below.

Northern Rocky Mountain Biodiversity Challenge (NRMC), June 12 – 15: A
four- day bioblitz using iNaturalist in conjunction with Idaho Master Naturalists. Each day is a different location. Come to one or all. We will use iNaturalist to document plants and other organisms encountered.
NRMBC Day 1: Thursday, June 12, 10:45 am, Round Lake State Park.
NRMBC Day 2: Friday, June 13, 10:00 am, Tall Pines Fish and Game property
near Hayden Lake, meet at English Point trailhead to carpools, north of Coeur
d’Alene about 7 miles, take Hwy 95, turn right on Lancaster Road for 3.5 miles, turn right on English Point Road, immediately look left for trailhead and parking.
NRMC Day 2 alternate: Friday June 13, 10:00 am, Sand Creek in Sandpoint,
meet at Popsicle Bridge, watercraft will be needed, RSVP to IMN.Sandpoint@gmail.com.
NRMBC Day 3: Saturday June 14, 10:00 am, Pack River Delta, off Lake Pend

Plant Walk, Doris Morrison Learning Center, Saltese Flats Wetland, July 12
Saturday 10:00 am: West of Liberty Lake, Washington, going west take exit 294
off I-90 and turn left (east) onto Country Vista Drive, turn right (south) onto
Henry Lane and past the high school to Kramer Rd., turn right and then left at
the Y junction onto Henry Rd. (south), before Henry curves left, entrance to the Learning Center is on the right across from the Saltese Uplands Parking Area, paved driveway ends at the Learning Center Parking Area.

Idaho Botany Foray, July 17 – 21: Penn Basin Campground, Boise National
Forest. Herbarium specimen collecting expedition. If interested, contact Derek
for details.

Plant Walk, Lake Darling, August 16 Saturday, 8:00 am: Carpool from
Hayden Walmart, Hwy 95 and Honeysuckle Ave, NE corner of parking lot.
Alternatively from Sandpoint about 9:00 am, take Hwy 200 east 12 miles, turn
left onto Trestle Creek Rd. (275) for 16 miles, turn left onto Lightning Creek Rd. (419) for about 1 mile, look for trailhead on left just before the bridge.
