Join us as we share some of the rich and unique flora observed during a

spring botanical survey on BLM lands in the foothills of the Owyhee Mountains.

Lisa will share an overview of the plant communities and rare flora observed along the way. 

Michael will provide insight into the rare Packard’s desert-parsley (Lomatium packardiae)

as he summarizes his recent genetic research on this fascinating and diverse genus.

The evening will be full of botanical delights as we provide the

highlights of this beautiful, rugged, and remote landscape.
